Royals wrap up season at provincials

The Prince Albert U18 Royals finished off their season on the weekend in Unity at their provincial tournament.

They finished with a 1-2 record in the round robin and did not advance to the playoffs due to a defensive runs calculation tiebreaker.

The Royals started off with a 12-8 win over the White Sox on Aug. 13 before a narrow 5-4 defeat to the Weyburn Beavers.

The Royals then lost their final game 7-4 to the Regina Blue Jays.
