The Mosaic Company donates $2 million to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation
The Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation has received a significant donation from The Mosaic Company.
According to a media release, they received $2 million to the foundation to continue The Mosaic Child Life Program.
“For over a decade, we have proudly supported Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, investing over $9.3 million to help build the province’s first dedicated children’s hospital and support specialized programming,” said Joc O’Rourke, President and CEO of The Mosaic Company, in the release. “Today, I am honoured to share, on behalf of Mosaic’s 1,800 Saskatchewan employees and their families, another $2 million-dollar funding commitment to enhance The Mosaic Child Life Program which provides much-needed supports for Saskatchewan families.”
The new funding, announced Friday, will help children and their families receive specialized child life therapy. Over the years Mosaic has helped build The Mosaic Child Life Program, a therapeutic play area for pediatric patients and their families and The Mosaic Maternal Care Centre.
