Government accepting applications for Veteran Service Club Support Program
The provincial government will now be accepting applications for their second round of Veteran Service Club Support Program applications from clubs across the province.
The program provides money for organizations to help with facility projects, upgrades, renovations or repairs, access to programming, meetings and events as well as funding for special events, programs and activities for the club to engage with the publice and continue and expand the work of veteran service organizations.
The first round for this year supported 39 veteran service clubs around Saskatchewan with over $634,000 in support already delivered, announced the government in a recent press release. Parks, Culture and Sport minister Laura Ross said she saw much success in the programs first round of grant delivery.
“We encourage more veteran branches across Saskatchewan to apply for this grant regardless of if they’ve received any COVID-19 relief funding so that we can continue to support the veterans in our province.
