Danny Klughart shoots 65 at Men’s Northern Saturday, will lead championship flight on Sunday

Day one of the 100^th Men’s Northern Amateur Golf Tournament at Cooke Municipal Golf Course has wrapped up and after an 18-hole qualifying round, the flights For Sunday have been set.

Defending champion Danny Klughart led the way with an impressive low score of 65 to lead the Championship flight Sunday morning. Cole Jenkins also finished with a low score of 68, and Trevor Ring as well as Greg Swenson both shot 69 on the day.

A shotgun start will head out tomorrow morning at 7 a.m. and at 1:30 p.m. to begin match play.
