Selander leading Senior Men’s golf championships in Warman, Ring in top 10
Just two months after sharing the Senior Men’s Lobstick title together along with Roger Gilhespy, Prince Albert’s Cliff Selander and Martin Ring are back in the hunt at the Senior Men’s/Mid-Masters provincial championships at the Legends Golf Course in Warman.
Selander took the lead in the tournament after shooting a three-under-par 69 to begin the tournament on Tuesday. Ring is in the top ten as well, just three strokes behind Selander as he shot an even par 72. Ring is tied for seventh place with Brent Wotypka, James Tsakas and Doug Kozak.
Right on Selander’s heels are Barry Macooh and Shawn Strelau, both who golf out of the Legends Golf Club, as well as Don Monson. The three are at two under par.
Round two continues on Wednesday with the championship round scheduled for Thursday.
