Just days after a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Corey Clarke, the 33-year-old was arrested by Baker Lake RCMP in Nunavut.

According to a media release from the Prince Albert Police Service, Clarke was wanted for one count of second degree murder in connection with the death of 29-year-old Natasha Ross on May 24.

The warrant was issued on July 12.

Clarke has been remanded into custody after a bail hearing in Nunavut. Arrangements are being made to have him transported back to Prince Albert, but it’s not clear yet when he will appear in court.

Family members have confirmed Clarke and Ross were known to each other.
