Listen: Saskatchewan reports first case of anthrax in two years

MELFORT, Sask. — Anthrax has been confirmed in a sheep flock in the RM of South Qu’appelle.

Saskatchewan Chief Veterinary Officer Dr. Stephanie Smith said lab results confirmed the sudden death in one animal. She said anthrax is the suspected cause of death as well for other animals from that same operation.
