P.A. Pride returns after year’s absence; a week full of virtual and drive-in events on tap
After a year’s absence for obvious reasons, Prince Albert Pride Week is a go starting on Saturday.
There will be seven events spread out throughout the seven days and can be enjoyed by everybody from the LGBTQIA2S+ community and its allies from either the safety of their own home or vehicle.
“I think it’s a fabulous thing. Again, we’re still under the restrictions but we’ve gone almost totally virtual. Everyone’s been asking what we’re doing this year, and we’re excited to put on the events we are going to have,” Prince Albert Pride chair Marc Roberts told paNOW.
Prince Albert Pride will kick off on Saturday with the Drag Me Across Saskatchewan event, a drive-in drag show with shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
