Cooke Municipal forced to close temporarily due to storm

Due to the Wednesday morning storm, the Cooke Municipal Golf Course will be closed “until further notice.”
Cooke’s Facebook page offered various photos of downed trees that were pushed over by the storm, saying work needs to be done to clear the course before play can resume.
The storm cut out power in various parts of the city, as well as causing notable damage. At least two different fires can be attributed to the storm.
