Murder suspect makes first court appearance
A young man, facing a charge of second degree murder, made his first court appearance Monday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Keiston Robin Custer, 24, is alleged to have caused the death of 44-year-old Norman Charles Custer on Saturday, May 22.
Police have confirmed the victim died from a gunshot wound. The relationship between the accused and the victim is not clear at this stage of the court proceedings, nor the possible motive.
Keiston Custer’s matters were adjourned to June 28. In addition to the murder charge, court records show Custer also faces a number of other unrelated charges, including participation in a riot.
