Rose Garden Hospice gets building approval from City Council
The Rose Garden Hospice is now in the final push for fundraising to make the project a reality. Prince Albert city council approved the development permit for the hospice at Tuesday’s meeting.
The hospice will be approximately 10 acres in size on 500 38th Street West and will provide end of life care for up to 10 patients with eight staff members on site at a time.
Director of planning and development, Craig Guidinger said the hospice is a positive project.
“The approval of a development permit is a significant milestone to get to that finish line,” Guidinger told council. “They want to break ground as soon as they are able.”
