The Saskatchewan Health Authority has confirmed a new case of COVID-19 in Carlton Comprehensive Public High School.
Staff and students who may have been at risk from the infected individual were all deemed non-close contacts and there will be no need for them to self-isolate and there was no evidence that the virus was passed on at the school.
With this being the case, in-school learning is safe to continue, stated the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division in a recent media release.
“The division is thankful to have such a cohesive team of administration and staff supported by our partners in health,” as stated in the release.
