Power outage caused by fire in areas from Waskesiu to Stanley Mission

UPDATE: On Monday evening in a statement from SaskPower, they said there is a strong possibility residents west of the P.A. airport and north of La Ronge could be without power over night. The problem is a transmission line needs repaired and some areas are hard for them to get to due to a fire.

SaskPower is alerting the public they are working to repair damage caused by a fire.

The locations affected by the outage are in Waskesiu, Meath Park, Paddockwood, La Ronge, Stanley Mission and surrounding areas. They made the announcement on their Twitter account around 5:30 p.m.

Those areas are currently without power and SaskPower are unable to provide a restoration time.
