37+ for vaccines

COVID-19 vaccine age eligibility to be lowered to 37 and older starting Tuesday

May 3, 2021 | 3:39 PM

The Government of Saskatchewan will lower the COVID-19 vaccine age eligibility to those age 37 and older starting Tuesday. Residents 18 and older in the Northern Saskatchewan Administrative District will also be eligible on May 4. This applies to all vaccine clinics.

There will be 8,000 appointments added to the Patient Booking System at 8 a.m. Tuesday for booked appointments and pharmacy appointments.

Reminder to residents that clinic availability is based on vaccine availability, and demand for appointments outweighs the current supply.

Among the many COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru and walk-in clinics added to the list between May 3 to 8 include a walk-in clinic at the community of Humboldt on May 8 at the Jubilee Hall (Door No. 9 Uniplex) 619-17th Street at 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Prince Albert will have a drive-thru clinic open on May 8 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at No. 1 Pine Street—Highway 2 North—RM No. 491 (Thorpe’s Industry—access via Central Ave across the river).

Vaccine supply remains limited and drive-thru/walk-in clinics may close early when all vaccine is administered. All drive-thru and walk-in clinics will be on a first come, first served basis and no appointment is necessary.
