Prince Albert A&W announce fundraising campaign for Rose Garden Hospice

The A&W restaurants in Prince Albert will soon be launching a new fundraising campaign for the Rose Garden Hospice.

Beginning May 3–9, both of Prince Albert’s A&W locations will be donating $2 from every Teen Burger sale to the project. They will also be holding the same fundraiser for two more weeks during the summer on June 14–20, and Aug. 12–18.

“We have a vehicle that we could really get the word out and we wanted to utilize that to get behind a great community cause,” said owner of the Prince Albert A&W franchise, Reg Fontaine. “[Rose Garden is] meaningful to this community and speaks to so many levels to family and community. That’s why it was important to us at A&W.”

Fontaine also feels a personal connection to the hospice, he said, since Rose Daschuk, who the hospice is named after, and her husband Don, have been in their restaurants numerous times, which made it a closer cause for the Fontaine family.
