Editor’s note: The charges were stayed by the Crown on Nov. 22, 2021.

A man facing charges in connection to a number of violent incidents at Big River First Nation last year, has entered not guilty pleas.

Ryan Lachance, 25, elected to be tried by a judge at Prince Albert Court of Queen’s Bench. A date has not yet been set.

Back in January, a warrant was issued by Saskatchewan RCMP for Lachance’s arrest and he was found in March without incident.

The matters were most recently spoken to when Lachance appeared by video Thursday from the Prince Albert Correctional Centre.
