COVID case at St. Mary High School

Officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) have identified a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at École St. Mary High School in Prince Albert.
A media release from the Prince Albert Catholic School Division Friday said the case is not school acquired.
Communication has been shared with the specific classroom(s)/cohort(s), as well as the school community. SHA is proceeding with their assessment of the situation, and all individuals deemed to be close contacts will be provided instructions.
The release stated: “we want to reassure families of École St. Mary High School that the school will continue to operate for in-person classes while maintaining the safety protocols that are in place. To protect privacy, we are not able to share or discuss details. The cohorts impacted by this case have been notified and provided with instructions.”
