Drive-thru vaccine clinics for 52-54 year olds across region

Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has added some drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinics for anyone aged 52 to 54 years effective Thursday.

They will be in Prince Albert, North Battleford and Lloydminster.

Appointments are not needed and these clinics are on a first-come-first-served basis.

In Prince Albert, the drive-thru runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorpe’s Industry, No. 1 Pine Street – Highway 2 North – RM No. 491. Ages 52-54 only.

In North Battleford, the clinic runs from 9:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at 391, Yellowhead Alley. Ages 52-54 only.

In Lloydminster, the clinic runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5521, 49 Avenue (Exhibition Grounds). Ages 52-54 only.

Booked appointment eligibility unchanged

In a media release Wednesday evening SHA said COVID-19 vaccine booking eligibility remains unchanged for April 15, 2021. Eligible groups include all individuals 52 years of age and older, individuals 40 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers, and people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable through an eligibility letter.
