The Prince Albert Mintos U18 AAA have announced their new head coach for the 2021-22 season, adding a familiar face to the organization.
According to a media release, Tim Leonard has been hired to replace former head coach Danton Danielson after he stepped down in February.
Leonard has had a long history with the Mintos, winning the Telus Cup National Championships in the 2006 and 2007 seasons, as well as winning U18 AAA titles in 2006, 2007 and 2011.
Other than his time with the Mintos, he has held head coaching positions with the Parkland U18 AA Elks in 2020/21 and the Beardy’s U18 AA Blackhawks in 2019/20.
