P.A. RCMP looking for man in relation to sexual assaults

UPDATE: As of 4:11 p.m. Luke Cook was arrested in Black Lake, Sask. without incident. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance on June 1 in Black Lake.

The Prince Albert RCMP are requesting help from the public to locate an adult male who may be in Prince Albert.

Luke Cook from Black Lake First Nation is wanted in relation to sexual assaults reported to police in December 2020.

The assaults happened in Black Lake First Nation and after investigation he has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference and one count of making sexually explicit material available to a child.

After he was charged police issued an arrest warrant on Jan. 21 for Cook but were unable to find him. Although not confirmed, the RCMP say he may be in the Black Lake First Nation, Saskatoon or Prince Albert.

For those who see him police say to not approach him and call 911. And anyone who has information on him can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
