Our 2020/2021 4-H year has started!

Back in December our club held its annual weigh day for the members to register and weigh their animals.

This year while following COVID protocols, we had families book a time to do so during December 20^th and December 27^th.

Thank you to the Timm Family for once again hosting everyone at their farm. The members animals look great and our fingers are crossed that we will be able to exhibit our projects this year!

We have held two virtual meetings so far through Google Classroom, with our first organizational meeting held on January 30^th. This year we have 21 members from the Weldon, Kinistino, Birch Hills and White Fox areas.

Our club executive for the year is as follows:

• President – Alex Manson
• Vice president – Shelby Wenig
• Treasurer – Courtney Hansen
• Secretary – Kylee Hansen
• District Representatives – Alex Manson and Courtney Hansen
• Club Reporter – Ava Timm
• Photographer – Payton Braaten (with assistance from Ramona Swenson)

Our second meeting of the year was held on February 13^th. We discussed receiving our new record books, checking our uniforms, and holding speeches.

Our club speeches will be held virtually among our members on March 5^th, 6^th and 7^th.

Although with the current situation of COVID, our club year is looking different once again. We are hoping that this year will be better and that we can get back to the activities that teach us to “Learn to do by Doing”.
