5th Annual Turtle Lake Fishing Derby in March

The Turtleford Lions Club is proud to announce that we will be hosting our 5th Annual Turtle Lake Fishing Derby on March 6th!

We will be taking registration on the morning of the 6th from 9-11:00 am at South Bay.

Due to COVID restrictions we will be doing a drive up registration.

You may stay in your vehicle if you wish and one of our members would be happy to get you registered.

Otherwise, we have the same rules as previous years.

You will be given one of our measuring sticks and pictures of fish must be taken with fish along side of stick and sent to the phone number that will be provided.

Prizes for longest pike, longest walleye and hidden length for any species.

Fishing will be from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 pm and you may fish anywhere on Turtle Lake.

Due to COVID we will not be doing prizes at South Bay Inn but instead you will be contacted by our judges if you have won a prize.

All Saskatchewan fishing rules and regulations are in place and this is a catch and release tournament.

Any person caught cheating will be disqualified.

This is a fun tournament and a great fundraiser for our club.

We appreciate all the support we have received over the past years. Thank You!

Registration will be $40 per person. To help make things run smoothly we ask you bring the correct amount of cash. You may enter for as many people as you wish all we require is the name and phone number for each person being registered.
