Alberta Canola Producers Commission says tax credit available for farmers

The Alberta Canola Producers Commission says any producer who does not ask for a refund of any check-off money paid in 2020 can get a tax credit.
The Commission says in a release the tax credit rate in Alberta is 21.30 per cent.
This credit is allowed because part of the money is used for research and falls under the Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax credit.
The commission says farmers can contact the Canada Revenue Agency or talk to their accountants if they need more information. There is also more information here.
