“I think this is the greatest day of my life.” — 12-year-old Helena Zengel, nominated for best supporting actress in a film for “News of the World.”
“I’ve been doing home-schooling with an 8-year-old and 5-year-old. Anyone who has been doing home-schooling for the better part of a year deserves some little boost in morale. If you want me to make you a paper snowflake I can make you a really beautiful one.” — Hugh Grant, 60, nominated for best actor in a limited series or movie for “The Undoing.”
“We’ve been praying, we’ve been hoping, we’ve been dreaming, but even in our wildest dreams we didn’t think something like this could happen to people from Eastern Europe.” — Maria Bakalova, who became the first Bulgarian Golden Globe nominee with her nod for best actress in a movie musical or comedy for “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.”
