New Year – New additions at Alberta Beef Producers

Jan 6, 2021 | 10:52 AM

CALGARY, AB. — The New Year has brought some changes at Alberta Beef Producers (ABP).

ABP General Manager, Brad Dubeau, says one of those changes involves the introduction of a new magazine and the group is very excited about it.

“This opportunity will, hopefully, allow for the organization to connect more consistently with our producers across the province”.

Dubeau ran down when producers were likely to see the publication.

“The first issue will be in people’s mailboxes by the end of the first week in February and then we will be having a second issue coming out towards the end of March or the beginning of April. It’s a part of the larger communications program that we’re launching with Alberta Beef Producers, that will also include a platform that readers will be able to view on their desktop or their computer, as well as within an ap.”

The new magazine will be just one of a plethora of numerous publications offered by ABP, from the Daily Cattle Report and Cattle Practices to Beef Supply at a Glance to Checkoff information. They serve over 18,000 producers under one organization.
