Two men facing drug related charges after police search vehicle

The Prince Albert Police Service have charged two men after they found methamphetamine in the engine compartment after stopping a vehicle in Prince Albert just under two weeks ago.

According to a media release, on Dec. 9 officers of the Integrated Crime Reduction Team stopped a 50-year-old man and a 47-year-old man at 10 p.m. and searched their vehicle. They discovered 86 grams of methamphetamine in the engine compartment, $500 Canadian money and small amount of American money and a cellphone.

The 50-year-old is charged with breach of court orders and is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime. The 47-year-old is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
