One Arrow prepares for two-week lockdown
Effective Monday, no one can enter or leave the One Arrow First Nation for a period of two weeks.
The full lockdown announced by the community’s Emergency Management Team is being done to lower the number of cases within the community and prevent further transmission.
“It was decided this was the best course of action,” a statement from the band’s emergency management team and leadership read.
The tentative ending for the lockdown is Jan. 4 and the only two exceptions to the rule will be emergency personnel and essential services employees/vehicles.
