UPDATE: RCMP locate missing 51-year-old woman

Update: Prince Albert RCMP have located 51-year-old Patricia Ballantyne. According to a statement from the RCMP, Ballantyne has been taken to local hospital for evaluation.

Prince Albert RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 51-year-old Patricia Ballantyne.

Ballantyne was last seen at her residence in Prince Albert at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11, wearing a dark green jacket over a grey hoodie with a pattern on the front, dark pajama pants, and boots.

Police said in their release early Saturday morning that they are actively continuing to search for Ballantyne and have attempted to contact and locate her, but so far have been unable to locate her or determine her whereabouts. At this time, police believe it may be possible Ballantyne is still in or around the community of Prince Albert. Her loved ones and police are concerned for her well-being.

Ballantyne is described as approximately 5-6 and 160 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She drives a silver/grey 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Saskatchewan licence plate 431 MAY.

Anyone who may have seen or has information regarding the whereabouts of Patricia Ballantyne is asked to contact Prince Albert RCMP immediately at 306-765-5501, 310-RCMP, or their local police detachment. Information can also be submitted anonymously to Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
