All Prince Albert schools moving to remote learning
Starting Monday, all students in both Prince Albert school divisions will temporarily move to remote learning.
The announcement was made by the Prince Albert Catholic Schools and the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School divisions on Friday night. A press release said the preventative measure is in response to public health recommendations based on the increased rates of community transmission of COVID-19.
“Students will participate and engage in remote learning programming as learning expectations will remain a priority,” the release read. “Schools will provide specialized programming or support for intensive learning needs on an individualized basis.”
Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 students will participate in the remote learning until Jan. 15, 2021 and can expect to return to class on Jan. 18, pending further review of health data.
