Breathing Easy: three city buildings win clean air awards
For the second year in a row, municipal buildings in Prince Albert have been recognized for maintaining a clean and healthy indoor environment.
The Alfred Jenkins Field House, the EA Rawlinson Centre and city hall received the 2020 North American Filtration Association (NAFA) clean air awards.
Scot Johnson, manager of BGE Indoor Air Quality Solutions, played a large part in helping the city earn the awards, in part by training five city maintenance workers through NAFA. He said the three locations had been working towards achieving this prestigious award for several years.
According to Johnson there are many factors to consider when being nominated.
