Positive case of COVID-19 found at École St. Mary High School

The Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified a positive COVID-19 case at École St. Mary High School yesterday evening.

According to a media release from the Prince Albert Catholic School Division, the case was not school acquired.

The possible exposure has been relayed to the class and cohort who have been in contact and the rest of the school community.

“The Saskatchewan Health Authority is proceeding with their assessment of the situation, and all individuals deemed to be close contacts are being notified,” the release said. “The class/cohort(s), impacted by this case, barring any other cases, are required to self-isolate until midnight on Dec. 3, 2020. The class/cohort(s) will be move to remote learning until the isolation period is complete. These specific class/cohort(s) are advised to contact 811 Healthline for advice.”
