Search continues for alleged kidnapper

A woman who is alleged to have entered a home on the One Arrow First Nation residence without permission, assaulted a woman, and then took the woman’s four-month-old son, remains on the run.

The incident happened on Nov. 14 and the young boy was found unharmed in another residence by his mother, after being separated for 30-45 minutes. The woman accused, Tori Sutherland, left the residence by the time the mother located her boy.

An arrest warrant was issued around the same time for Sutherland. On Thursday, RCMP informed paNOW they believe Sutherland may now be in the Saskatoon area.

Sutherland has been described as a 26-year-old female with brown eyes, black hair, and a thin build. She is approximately five feet, four inches (165 cm) tall and weighs 115 to 120 pounds (52 to 54.4 kg). A clothing description was not provided.
