COVID case at Canwood school
The Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at Canwood Public School in Canwood, north west of Prince Albert.
In a media release, the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division said they were informed of the positive COVID-19 test result Saturday afternoon and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community.
The grade 7-12 students and staff impacted by this case are required to isolate until the end of the day on Nov.27, and the learning program will continue remotely for those students affected. Privacy concerns prevent sharing of further details of the case.
Canwood Public School will remain open for in-person classes for all students that are not required to isolate.
