The Prince Albert Police Service are asking for the public’s help in finding those involved in setting a home on fire in the West Flat in October.

According to a media release, on Oct. 3 at 5 a.m. the police responded to a call of a fire at a home in the 1600 Block of 15th Street West.

Police say witnesses in the area said they saw a man near the residence in his 20s wearing a grey bunnyhug. He also may have been wearing a hat.

The house, carport and a truck were all damaged during the fire and police have deemed it suspicious.

In an interview with paNOW last month, the owner of the home said he thinks the fire was deliberately set. The home was occupied by a father and his daughter, who unfortunately lost their two cats.

Those with information about this incident can contact police at 306-953-4222.
