More COVID cases at P.A. school prompts warning from administrator
With increasing levels of transmission across the province, including Prince Albert, the Saskatchewan Health Authority has identified further COVID-positive cases in a local school. And the most senior administrator at the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division has sounded a warning about the potential of school closures and the impact that may have on working parents.
The latest report involves a positive COVID-19 case in two individuals at Carlton Comprehensive Public High School.
In a media release the school division said it was informed this evening of the positive COVID-19 test result and communication is being shared with the classrooms/cohorts, the connected staff, as well as with the school community. The students and staff impacted by this case are required to isolate until the end of the day on Nov.25.
Carlton High School will remain open for in-person classes for all students that are not required to isolate.
