Increased COVID-19 exposure risk at Minto Bowl in Prince Albert

Nov 16, 2020 | 11:05 AM

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is alerting residents of an increased risk of a COVID-19 exposure at the Minto Bowl in Prince Albert.

According to a media release, from Nov. 1 to 8 an infected person or persons attended the Minto Bowl and the exposure happened during coached bowling sessions.

Those who were at the location on the dates reported must self-isolate immediately and call HealthLine 811 to schedule for testing.

“When an individual tests positive for COVID-19, a contact investigation immediately follows,” as stated in the release. “If health officials determine an increased risk of exposure to the public, they direct that a public service announcement (PSA) be issued requiring impacted individuals to self-isolate. The PSA is not a commentary on a location or a business and its practices. Reasonable efforts are made to inform the business or location in advance of public notification.”
