An arrest warrant has been issued for 26-year-old Tori Sutherland, who is alleged to have entered a One Arrow First Nation residence without permission, assaulted a woman who lived there, and then took the woman’s 4-month-old son on Saturday.

Wakaw RCMP said in a statement Sunday the boy was discovered unharmed in another residence by his mother, after being separated for 30-45 minutes. Sutherland had left the residence by the time the mother located her boy.

Sutherland is described as a 26-year-old female with brown eyes, black hair, and a thin build. She is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches (165 cm) tall and weighs 115 to 120 pounds (52 to 54.4 kg). Investigators believe Sutherland was last seen travelling on foot. A clothing description is not available.

The public is advised not to approach Sutherland and to call 911 immediately if she is seen.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tori Sutherland is asked to call their local police service or Wakaw RCMP at 306-233-5810.
