Teenage boys accused of attempted murder

Two 16-year-old boys are each facing a charge of attempted murder in connection to a stabbing incident in the city’s Crescent Acres neighbourhood Thursday morning.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

The victim and suspects are believed to be known to each other, according to police.

The two boys, who appeared by phone for their court appearances Friday, have a bail hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

Family members of one of the boys were present in court.
