Additional charges have been laid by the Prince Albert Police Service in connection to Dylan Chretien’s death last year.

Chretien’s remains were found outside Prince Albert’s city limits on Dec. 4. His death was later determined to be the result of foul play.

Brandon Daniels, 25, and Max Moostoos, 28, were each charged with one count of accessory to murder after the fact.

Daniels was released from custody today with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 19.

Moostoos remains in custody on remand and will appear before a judge Dec. 17.

Earlier this year, police charged Brandon Smith, 33, with second-degree murder in connection with Chretien’s death. Smith has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Chretien was last seen in Prince Albert on Oct. 27, 2019. The truck he was driving, a blue Toyota Tundra, was later found abandoned in the Nordale area on Nov. 1.

His mother told paNOW Chretien went to Prince Albert to give a friend a ride. Chretien’s plan, she said, was to pick up the friend’s boyfriend and travel to Lloydminster.

The Criminal Investigations Division of the Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate the case.
