COVID-19 case confirmed in St. Louis Public School

Nov 1, 2020 | 9:25 AM

The Saskatchewan Rivers School Division announced on Saturday evening that there is a confirmed, positive COVID-19 case at St. Louis Public School.

In a media release, the school division said they were informed of the test result on Saturday evening. Those who have been in close contact with the individual have been notified, as well as the rest of the school’s community. Students and staff that had close contact are required to isolate until Nov. 9.

For privacy concerns, the media release did not identify whether the individual was a teacher, student or staff member.

For those that were not deemed to be in close contact with the individual, the St. Louis Public School will stay open for in-person classes.
