Three more PAPS officers test positive for COVID-19
Three additional officers from the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) have tested positive for COVID-19.
The service was notified of the positive tests over the weekend and yesterday. The new positive cases come following the first positive case late last week.
According to a media release from PAPS, members and staff are taking health and safety seriously and are continuing with enhanced cleaning procedures. Masking requirements are also in effect when distancing of two metres cannot be guaranteed.
After the first case, the main station and police substation underwent additional cleaning and disinfection. Further cleaning is planned to keep both locations properly sanitized, the release said.
