Rosthern Hospital closed temporarily following COVID-19 case

Oct 18, 2020 | 5:49 PM

UPDATE: As of 8 a.m. this morning, services have resumed at the Rosthern Hospital, which include emergency and outpatient services.

Those looking for emergency services in the Rosthern area won’t be able to do so in the town.

That’s due to a positive COVID-19 case at the Rosthern Hospital, according to the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The facility will now be closed temporarily.

Associated contact tracing is now underway within the hospital. Emergency and outpatient services will not be available at the facility.

In the event of an emergency, residents are being asked to call 911, and an ambulance will be dispatched for assistance. In the event of a non-emergency, questions can be directed to the HealthLine, by dialing 811.
