Oct 16, 2020 | 5:56 PM

Trent Fox, who was arrested and charged with attempted murder after an incident on Oct. 14, made his first court appearance in Prince Albert on Friday morning.

But after further investigation, Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) say that Fox allegedly hitchhiked to Prince Albert from North Battleford earlier on Oct. 14 before the incident occurred.

P.A. police said they want to speak with who picked up Fox and drove him into Prince Albert.

β€œIt is not believed that any occupants of this vehicle were involved in a criminal offence in any way, but police would like to speak with the member or members of the public who interacted with Mr. Fox,” PAPS statement read.

Fox was wearing a red Chicago Blackhawks toque, camouflage pants and a grey sweater when he received the ride to Prince Albert.

If you or someone you know provided Mr. Fox with a ride to Prince Albert on the evening of Oct. 14, please contact the Prince Albert Police at 306-953-4222.
