RCMP investigating livestock shootings in Lac Ste. Anne County
LAC STE. ANNE COUNTY, AB — Parkland RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating suspects responsible for killing and injuring cattle in Lac St. Anne County.
Mounties says that between September 4 and October 11, three separate occurrences were reported to the Parkland RCMP and the RCMP Livestock Section. The unknown suspects shot and killed, or injured, cattle belonging to a beef producer in the County.
Over the last month, two of the animals were killed and a third animal was seriously injured.
Police do not believe that these actions were accidental and say that they were targeted attacks. Authorities add these cattle are worth over $10,000.
