UPDATE: 18-year-old woman charged after Saturday a.m. homicide

Prince Albert Police charged an 18-year-old woman with manslaughter while using a firearm, after police found an 18-year-old man dead early Saturday morning.
The accused is in custody and will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday.
After police found the 18-year-old man deceased in a residence at the 1700 Block of 14th Street West 1 a.m. on Saturday, they initially classified the incident as a “suspicious death.”
This latest death follows a series of incidents in the city the past week including a homicide and drive-by shooting. Police have not indicated if there is any direct link between these incidents.
