Shooting incident on Marquis Road

Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) are reporting another shooting in the city.

In a media release issued Friday, PAPS said they were investigating an incident overnight in which one man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his arm.

Just before 3 a.m. Friday, police were called to the 600 Block of Marquis Road for a weapons complaint. Two vehicles were then reported to have fled the area at a high rate of speed.

One man was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The victim and suspect in this file are known to each other.

Police continue to investigate.

It was the third reported shooting incident this week, following a suspected homicide Tuesday and drive-by shooting Sunday.
