Former RM administrator, charged with theft, enters not guilty plea

A former administrator for the Rural Municipality (RM) of Buckland, charged with theft over $5,000, has entered a not guilty plea.

Tara Kerber has now been scheduled to face trial Jan. 28 at Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Kerber worked for the RM from 2012 to 2019.

According to a statement provided to paNOW from the RM, the charge was laid in relation to an incident referred to the Prince Albert RCMP in 2019.

The incident had to do with the disappearance of valuable goods that had been donated to the RM.
