SHA announce flu shot dates in Prince Albert and area

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) has announced dates P.A. and area residents can get their flu shots beginning on Oct. 19.

According to a media release, the SHA is asking members of the public to book their appointment at the flu clinic by calling 1-877-670-1226. Flu shots will also be available at pharmacies and some doctor offices. The vaccine is free for everyone six months or older.

On Monday, Oct. 19, residents can go to the Plaza 88 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the Spiritwood Public Health Office or the Spiritwood Civic Centre from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Tuesday, Oct. 20 the Plaza 88 will take patients from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Beginning on Wednesday Oct. 21 residents can get their shots at the Shellbrook Elk’s Hall from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Plaza 88 in Prince Albert will continue to take residents from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

On Thursday, Oct. 22 and Friday, Oct. 23 the Plaza 88 will be running again from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 24 in Birch Hills, residents can go to the Birch Hills School Gym from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. as well as the Big River High School Gym from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

P.A. residents can go to the Plaza 88 once again on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
