Poisoned meat stolen from rural home near Blaine Lake after break and enter
Six steaks that were poisoned to use in wild animal control were stolen from a rural residence on the Wingard Ferry road, Blaine Lake RCMP announced on Saturday.
RCMP received a report of a break and enter on Saturday morning—but the robbery itself is estimated to have taken place between Tuesday and Friday. Among “a large amount of household items” that were taken, the homeowner said that six steaks containing poison were taken from an outside freezer.
“If consumed, these steaks could seriously harm or kill someone,” Blaine Lake RCMP said in a statement.
There is not a description of the suspect.
