Rustic Market on for a good cause
The hot summer sun returned on Saturday afternoon, as people wandered around the south parking lot of the Art Hauser Centre with snow cones and cotton candy.
Carved wooding signs, Harry Potter scarves, and everything in between were on offer at the Rustic Market, and it was all for a good cause.
All proceeds collected at the gate of the market are going towards funding Harley’s House—a six-unit home for youth between the ages of 18-21 with intellectual disabilities in Prince Albert.
“There’s a lot of people coming out, supporting our local vendors and that’s what we want, to support our community and the people in it,” said Jody Foy, founder of Harley’s House and co-host of the Rustic Market. “We’re happy with our turnout and the weather is perfect. It’s a really great day and we can’t wait for more years to come.”
